Denis Silva da Silveira is an associate professor in the Department of Management at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) in northeastern Brazil. EDUCATION AND POSTDOCTORATE

Denis earned his Ph.D. in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in 2009, with a dissertation titled "Animare: An Animation Method for Validating the Business Process." He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the New University of Lisbon in 2015/2016, where he developed a reusable business process modeling approach.
