Augustine Gyan is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology at the University of Bayreuth, Germany, where his research focuses on issues of legal pluralism and digital governance in the context of land administration in Ghana. His academic journey began with a B.A. (Hons) in Sociology with Information Studies from the University of Ghana, followed by dual M.Phil degrees in Anthropology of Development and Global Development Theories and Practice from the University of Bergen, Norway. Augustine's scholarly pursuits are supported by prestigious scholarships such as the DAAD and the Norwegian Quota Scholarship, reflecting his dedication to advancing anthropological discourse in development studies.
