SHAN GUO pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Intelligent Science and Technology from Nankai University’s College of Information Technology Science (2008-2012). This was followed by a Master’s degree in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent System from the College of Computer and Control Engineering at Nankai University (2012-2015). Shan completed a Doctorate in Control Science and Engineering from the College of Artificial Intelligence at Nankai University (2015-2021). Since October 2021, Shan has been a Postdoctoral Fellow and Assistant Research Fellow at the same institution, studying under Professor Xin Zhao.

RESEARCH INTERESTS AND PROJECTS:

SHAN GUO’s research focuses on biological system modeling and simulation. Key interests include the mechanism of biological pattern formation and the combination of computer simulation with micro/nano cell operations. JIANPING YANG has a robust academic background in geology and geotechnical engineering. His findings optimized the tunnel lining thickness in soft rock in Pakistan, significantly reducing it from 1.2m to 0.6m.
